Centacare Employment Group (CEG) primarily provides employment services on behalf of the Australian Government (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations).  These services include Disability Employment Services (DES) and Job Services Australia (JSA) - Stream Services.  With over 240 staff across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane, Outer North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich regions, CEG aims to assist the unemployed and underemployed to realise their full potential and unique human dignity through participation in work and activities that are personally meaningful and socially useful.  As a component of JSA, CEG has also been awarded a place under the Innovation Fund Panel tasked with developing and delivering practical projects especially in disadvantaged communities.Over the years, CEG has added the following services to its portfolio:Psychology Services Queensland (PSQ) - a team of psychologists, intern psychologists and counsellors dedicated to deliver professional counselling services and vocational assessment to eligible job seekers; Skilling Queenslanders for Work - a State funded program providing paid work opportunities on community projects and industry training such as civil construction; and Jobseeker Development Programs - including ex-offender and men's health and wellbeing projects
