last night at 2am I had an emergency and needed transport for my 14yr old from the central coast to newcastle immediately. Not only was Jamie the booker i spoke to helpful but went that extra mile understanding my distress as a mother needing to get her child safe but without an unlimited bank account to do so, He found my daughter the nicest driver who helped my situation by offering a mutually acceptable rate for the long drive and chatted to my daughter the whole way taking her mind off her distress arriving at my door step safe sound and much more relaxed. So a huge thankyou to both Jamie for keeping me posted every step of the way and for the driver who not only accepted such an out of area call and long distance but did so at 2am in the morning and did not feel the need to bleed my bank account dry for doing so. Thankyou both for helping to take a bad situation and give it a good outcome.I recommend these guys to anyone I am a "neurotic" over protective mum- according to my daughter- and was very anxious as to my child being with a stranger- alone- for such a long distance. I could not have hoped for a better service, punctual, prompt, understanding, and just 2 really great people.Thanks guys. -

Easter Sunday and I bkd a taxi for my 87 yr old mum, as I usually do from palm beach so when she gets off at Ettalong wharf, there will be a taxi waiting for her. Well not today!! The cow acting as operator today would not book a taxi until she was at the wharf. This has never happened before and I've always found the drivers and operators friendly and helpful. Not today! Plese lets us know if there are new rules about bkg taxis with your company or offer these weekend operators some customer service training! -
Worst service ever!! Called for a maxi cab and was told that I couldnt have one!!! So ok I say send 2... what do they send? A maxi cab and a normal cab turned up! I called them and asked why, but they still said they had no maxi cabs available... Well guess what?? I was in one lol.
Anyway a senior staff member called back and spoke to my partner so rudely that she asked for their staff ID, they refused to provide it?? What the?
Then the cab we were in refused to take eftpos even though they had it or accept my $50 note.
All in all, worst service ever. My advice is to find alternative transport. These guys are clowns. -

After reading the negative feedback you have received I thought I should let you know of the good experience I had with your company.
Around 6pm on a Thursday night I called for a taxi from East Gosford to Gosford ...5 minutes later the taxi arrived.The very pleasant driver, who was new to the job, was terific. Thankyou. -

Found your so called service even less that appalling. A service should service the community not let them down. First contact 11.50pm 10/1 so called service provided 2.55am 11/1. We had 2 small children out waiting for your car to pick us up, we couldnt even get an approx time for pickup. You should be embarrassed of yourselves.

APPALLING service!!! It was wet & windy this morning & missed my train so I caled at 6.24am for a taxi because I didn't fancy waiting til 6.52 for the next train what with the weather being so horrid. The 6.52 train which I ended up catching without so much as a word from CLAYTONS TAXI SERVICE - the taxi you call when you don't really want a taxi to turn up. 1/2 a star for taking my call but you can bet your dollar i'll be passing the word around not to ever call you guys -

I live in the local area of Umina Beach on Thursday night24/04/08 between 5.10-6.25pm caught in a sudden downpour after just purchasing a carton of beer which had got wet and also a little tricky to carry so I decided to shout myself a taxi and lined up behind two others also caught in rain with awkward loads.
I waited and waited before the lady in front told me she had been waiting half hour and had three hungry children under 5 at home waiting for there dinner.She Didnt know the bus(not for long).As i watch the second Mt Ettalong bus go by.I rang and asked for three taxis to Bullion Street Taxi rank and was assured they would radio 1/2 hour on and i rang again and was told 'yes i will radio out again. 1/2 hour later I called home and my flatmate phoned again for me and rang my mobile to tell me it won't be long I waited a further 1/2h alone before i got a bus carried my load up Neera Road aching.
Get with it
That was the worst service i(Never)had.
Bus's are reliable
