    To all artistically inclined people of Melbourne and to an extent those of our wider australian community, if you are a parent who has noticed performance traits in there children and have easy access to the inner suburbs of Melbourne ( Great public transport from major hubs in the city) then i would strongly encourage you to look at Centrestage. With 20 years under its belt Centrestage has set-up a name for itself as one of the premier performing arts school in the state and certainly a standout in Austtralia, centrestage offers a friendly & family atmosphere with everyone working together to help make a succesful school, they have professionaly trained teachers and many of the Alumni have gone on to star in broadway shows and even aussie T.V. Please do not get this reviewer wrong Centrestage is not only based on acting it is firmly directed in the areas of dance and singing as well, with the quality of the teachers in all these areas your child or even yourself will be happy to be in class. I would also like to put emphasis on one final point in a University of Melbourne study it was reported that children should do at least 1-2 years of dance to firmly get them established on there feet, from personal experience my mother was told when I was 2 that I would grow to be 5.5 ft after dancing for 12 years i'm now 6.1ft which i have no doubt in my mind I owe to the staff and indeed my extended family at Centrestage
