Cessnock Market Place was purchased in August 2006 and is located right in the heart of wine country, the Hunter Valley. The centre is situated on the main road through Cessnock, Wollombi Road.

One of the main attractions of the centre is its convenient location and ample parking.

The centre currently consists of a Ritchies Supa IGA as the anchor tenant together with NRMA, Australia Post, Medicare, Subway, bakery, optometrist,  and other specialties.

It is anticipated that a major refurbishment of the centre will be completed in the 2009/2010 financial year.
