    This is one of the best fish n chip shops around, over 3 years of eating at this place and always satisfied. This is a VERY busy shop, should check it out Friday nights, you'll be amazed at how many people order here. If you want real food that wont let you down buy from this place.

    when I decided to grab a quick evening meal from my local I was well disappointed, borderline shocked. The fish and potato cakes are pre-battered and pre-cooked only to be reheated in oil to order! The draw full of pre-cooked potato cakes should be enough to scare anybody off. The freshest thing on my plate that night was my homemade salad.

    See, the thing is, the price of potatoes has gone down, but the price of fish has gone up, but you don't want to make anything less expensive, and the public freaks if you make things more expensive, so what you do is, if you are a nice honest Greek family just trying to get by, is, you give people a really really HUUUGE lot of chips in order to make up for the small piece of fish, then you end up staggering out of the shop under the burden of this gigantic bundle of chips, need a Mack Truck to take them all home, feed your family for a week.

    Actually since the Victorians didn't have fridges, they ended up inventing all these cool ways to preserve eggs (now mostly forgotten), just like the Chinese - Tea Eggs, Soy Eggs, Tiger Eggs, Ming Porcelain Eggs, Smoked Eggs, Pickled Eggs. So I am thinking that if you are unlike Middle Australia, who cheerfully devour both mashed potato and chips with their deep-fried chicken, maybe you could develop creative and fascinating ways to use up the huge mounds of chips in your refrigerator which you could not possibly eat finish at dinner, maybe pickled chips, something like that.

    But I digress. This is a good, honest, trad Fish and Chips shop, nothing's outstanding, staff are nice, value is great, it's the only cheap place to eat in Seddon at night, you want trad come here, you want exotic walk ten minutes to Footscray.

    Overall a very good chippy, Great friendly service. Good Quality chips and fish. Calamri are processed, which looses a star.

    Standard local fish and chip shop. Friendly, prompt service. Great ingredients and clean oil. Scallops and fried flake are the pick of the bunch. That parking is hard to get, and that the place is always packed is testament to its quality and value.
