    I might be slightly biased with this place because I go there so often, but I have to disagree with the negative review. The staff are in fact, quite friendly, you can befriend the bartenders and bouncers easily with the right attitude. Admittedly they are difficult if you don't have ID or if you are drunk, but that has only happened to me once or twice. You have to try their flaming charlie signature shot, it is the best shot I have ever had, though I'm not sure if they still serve them because last time I went they said they were out. I think I mainly like the place for its atmosphere and location, it's just close to everything and is a great place to chill out.

    Staff are a bit rude, bouncers are full of themselves. poorly managed place. The drinks are reasonably priced, but you can find that elsewhere without the attitude.

    A decent pub just to hang out, have a few drinks and play some pool. Has been a while since I've been to charlies and I've heard they recently renovated.
