    I drive trucks and I just saw a Charlie's Fruit Market boy take an old lady by the hand and walk her to her car in the pouring rain. In the opposite direction to which he was going. Big tick from me guys!

    Awesome shop, I have shopped around at other local fruit and veg shops and have always ended up driving back to Charlie's. Nobody competes with price, freshness and staff.

    Fantastic fruit store! I am also shocked at the poor rating as I have always been impressed with the excellent quality of fruit and veg, competitive prices and very friendly staff. They always carry my bags to the car which is fantastic when you are juggling a little one. I know the car park is small but you just need to be careful when reversing and wait for park.

    I find it very hard to believe that this fruit shop has only 2 and a half stars! We have always been very impressed with the service, price and quality at Charlies. Further to this, often there is a man (the owner?) walking around handing out free fruit to the kids in the shop. He doesn't do it in a showy way and genuinely seems happy to say Hi to the kids and give them the fruit. I love this personal touch. My box or bags are always carried to my car by very friendly staff. I do understand the issue surrounding the tiny carpark however I am happy to circle to shop at this excellent store.

    Poor customer service overall. I had an issue regarding the way I was handled by the staff, sent a polite email and never received anything back. Other than that tricky parking and location...

    They publish vouchers in the mail but don't always honour them due to technicalities they appear to think up on the spot. If you look related to somebody in the shop, chances are you might not be allowed to use your voucher on the grounds of 'family'.

    Always good specials with extra discounts or free goods if you take a coupon from the local paper or from the Charlie's internet site. I never walk away without getting exactly what I need and the service is excellent. Great fruit market.

    Friendly staff, very good prices and discount dockets (often offering free bananas) make this my fruit shop of choice. The only problem is the tiny car park which is often full (even smaller while they work on the old Blockbuster store). Cheap milk and a great greek yoghurt range too!
