Worst experience which has left me very frustrated. They never got back to us- even after leave multiple messages over long periods of time. They charged us more than they quoted and could not explain why this was the case. They were far from prossessional and certianly not helpful.

Our first investment purchase a few years ago went very smoothly as opposed to our current transaction with Charter Conveyancing. A letter outlining our responsibilities and a couple of calls were the sum total of the service to date. Call backs or replies to email almost non-existent.

One of the most unprofessional services I have every been silly enough to pay money for. Online service was never provided, despite numerous requests over many many weeks. Trying to contact them was difficult at best and messages requesting contact were totally ignored time and time again. Would strongly recommend that if you do use Charter Conveyancing, ring them every few days and keep on their case. Alternatively, if you want a less stressful time, purchase a kit. You will have a far better chance of getting answers.
Reading these previous reviews, I cant help but notice the similarities in language used between the different people, almost like they are written by them. And all of them 5 stars !!
I find these ratings incredibly difficult to believe as the consistency in service communicated by them certainly is far from what I experienced.

  Hi Anon.You are not alone in your dismay of this bunch.I can not work out how they stay in business.phone calls dont get returned.emails never get a response.We even had them booked for a settlement they didnt attend on time.The office looks flash but thats as far as flash goes.....

I am documenting a timeline of events so you can get a clear understanding of what happened (or more specifically, what didn't happen) and when. Having already spoken to you about the situation DURING the event and finding your demeanor far from helpful or professional, I wanted to get all my ducks lined up before trying to discuss the situation with you again. On the plus side (for you) there is PLENTY of room for improvement. Step 1 though is to start actually listening to your clients needs rather than telling them. But we will discuss this shortly.

I used Charter Conveyancing to process the sale of one of my units recently and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have no knowledge of how such sales go ahead so they looked after me and did all the paperwork with a minimum of fuss and all done on-time eveyr time.
Congrats to Brad and the team, I look forwards to dealing with them again - I highly recommend them.

My husband and I engaged Charter Conveyancing when we recently sold a property. Brad and his team were fantastic and made the process run as smooth as possible. I was impressed most by the availability of the staff to take calls and get back to us with advice promptly. Brad made himself available to us after hours when required and efficiency and attention to detail was a top priority of this firm. I would not hesitate to use Brad and his team again and would recommend Charter Conveyancing to any prospective buyer or seller.

When involved with a highly stressful purchase it was a welcome pleasure to know that I did not have to worry when it came to the conveyancing.

Everything was handled in a professional way and I was kept in the loop throughout which gave me time to focus on all the other matters. All my questions were easily answered and the process could not have gone better. It was excellent service and made it so simple for me to understand.

Brad and his team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always more than happy to answer all my queries (even the silly little questions!) and was always responsive and patient. The team are easy to get in contact with via email or phone, and get back to you quickly when necessary.

It's a real pleasure to deal with someone who thoroughly knows his craft, and Brad's experience really shows through when dealing with all the situations that come up. His ability to simplify and make smooth the conveyancing process means one less headache for me!

I would thoroughly recommend this company for all your conveyancing requirements.

We had major dramas with the property developers and Charter Conveyancing ensured that all of our needs were met with relation to finalising our contract and ensuring we weren't screwed over by the developer.

First class service from begining to end. Being a first time buyer was a concern for me however Charter Conveyancing followed through with everything they promised.

I am looking at purchasing a second house in the near future and have no reason to go to another conveyancing firm.

I would not recommend this business to deal with purchasing or selling your home. I received very little feedback during the process, always instigating the communication. There effort of calling your mobile once, not leaving a message and never trying again was considered to be constantly trying to contact you. Fee's although they ended up being what I was sold in the beginning during the process it appeared to be more expensive than quote.. so not sure if it was my input about what was sold and what was being billed that ensure correctness in the end.

It was hard to get onto the solicitor handling my case. No on-line portal was provided. It was up to me to get the schedule of fees 2 days before settlement and only just in time as the mechanism for payment of $30k on settlement is not as easy as you think.

Rates that were over due were paid on our behalf on the discounted rate resulting in a bill from the council with interest. how you can pay a discounted fee on a rates bill that was already late is beyond me. I was notified by the council about the late rates not by the solicitor when I enquired about this and what would happen they then proceeded to pay the wrong fee.

There was an issue on day of settlement that the seller had not ensured a resolution could be prooven. when paperwork was presented the terms and condition the seller presented was as if I was a tenant in my own house, and 80% for the risk was on me should the issue not have been fixed properly.

post settlement resolution was non-existent. Information for the appropriate fixed being prooven and the release of the minuscule funds help during settlement to the seller was not conveyed. I have been in the house for 6 months and got an email this week from the Realtor asking if I had informed my solicitor of the fix as the sellers solicitor could not get a response from my solicitor.

I may as well have bought a house purchase legal kit and done it myself.
