Bad experience! Service was slow although restaurant was half empty. Before ordering, we specifically asked whether the pasta of the day was spicy as i was going to share with my 3year old son. The staff said no, it is tomato based and we ordered that and asked if it will be long as my son is already hungry. They said no. We asked where was our pasta after 20 minutes and without checking, they said it is coming. Told them to cancel order if it not made, but no one came back to us to tell us whats going on in the kitchen! Order came after 30 minutes and when i fed my boy some of the pasta, he cried out as if he was in pain.... Why?? Because the pasta was spicy!! When we complained to the staff, the staff looked apologetic but the management never had the courtesy to come over to apologize or to ask how my little boy was doing.. Never ever go back!!
Brilliant array of textures, flavours and aroma's, escargot melts in your mouth, the oyster shooters are outstanding, starting with garlic mushrooms and garlic prawns, we trawled our way through to penne crab, grilled barramundi and the mixed seafood grill, with a fillet Mignon just to sample the red meat side, let me tell you, mouth watering, melting delicacies, every plate had a perfect balance and the portions were spot on. No room left for desert, but we will be back, definitely worth trying the Oyster bar out.
Tasty food and an unusual out of the ordinary selection. A nice fresh concept. We started by ordering a dozen oysters, 6 steamed ginger and 6 salami. All were decent sized and yummy. My husband ordered a salmon and gigli pasta and I had a coquille st jaques scallops. The scallops were absolutely heavenly. We finished with a generous cheese platter. We had a lovely time and service was charming. Will be back to try more of the interesting sounding seafood items on the menu, although the duck roulade sounded great too
