Although the music is a little mainstream for my personal tastes the actual venue of chasers itself is actually a pretty good spot for a Friday or Saturday night out. The venue itself is quite large inside, consisting of one big main room with a large central dancefloor and many nooks and corners to dance in small or massive groups. The decor is something a little different, consisting of chaise lounges (hence the name chasers) and chesterfield styled booths with pseudo antique tables to match. The bar is massive, takes up a whole side wall allowing plenty of room to get in, get served and get away without being too squished in. That said the actual array of beverages on offer at the bar are a tad disappointing, consisting of only your basic beers and premixes so don't expect anything fancy. There is a podium in the middle of the main floor but I would strongly advise all ladies wearing dresses, skirts or shorts to steer clear of this as to access the podium one must climb on in a very ungraceful fashion and the last thing anyone wants is their knickers on display to the world! The location on Chapel is also a big plus with ample parking across the street, quick access to public transport and cabs and better still a kebab shop right next door for those midnight munchies after. Yum! Decent venue, definately one of the bigger venues on the club scene and if the right event pops up here I shall definately be a visitor again!
