I love, love, love Chemist Warehouse for the bargains. But please Chemist Warehouse, improve your customer service! After getting my goodies last week, I lined up and waited my turn at the cashier. The customer in front of me finished their transaction, but I always think it is polite to wait and be acknowledged before walking up. Having worked in customer service myself there are times when you are not quite finished on the computer/ register and just have to enter something quickly before serving your next customer. So I waited....and waited..until the staff finished their conversation with one of co-workers. Eventually the staff looked my way, so I walked up & greeted the staff. No response...Hmmm. Throughout my entire transaction staff continued an animated conversation with co-worker. At one point I thought staff said something to me, so I said "pardon" and staff replied with "Oh no not you, I was talking to someone else". Grrr!!
I always make a point of reading name badges so I can thank a person by their name. So as I left I thanked the staff byr name. It was only then stopped talking and really took notice of me. Too little, too late :-(
