Chez Maurice Et Linda

The classic array of traditional French dishes on the menu at the Balgowlah situated 'Chez Maurice Et Linda' has not changed much in the past twenty years. Operated by the ever gracious husband and wife team chef Maurice and hostess Linda, the restaurant is definitely onto a good thing judging by the crowds they draw nightly (bookings essential).

To be honest, this reviewer never really believed that there was such a possibility of an unpretentious French dining experience, but the cosy décor and friendly service has proved that great food doesn't have to be accompanied with great snobbery.

The menu is fixed (2 courses will set you back upwards of 40 dollars; 3 will set you back upwards of 50 dollars) and they have a BYO policy.
