This quaint French restaurant is friendly and cosy, with a small team of wait staff and an effervescent chef. Chez Pascal is elegant and offers both meals from the a-la-carte menu as well as blackboard specials. The French delicacies on offer are skillfully presented and sophisticated and range from Joue de boef, beef cheeks, to fish and vegetarian options. Try the crème brulee or soufflé for a sweet finish. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday ad booking in advance is highly recommended.

Chez Pascal is one the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at. The ambiance has diminished slightly with the move to the new premises, but the Chef still puts on a good show. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced (The French onion soup is one of the best buys around,) & the service is outstanding. Its such a delight to eat somewhere where the wait staff are familiar with the specials without having to go 'ask'.

Grab a nice bottle of red and set in for a great evening.

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Sydney's south. Chez Pascal has been my parents' favourite restaurant for about 15 years, maybe longer, and we have all our big family celebrations here - birthdays, anniversaries, graduations. The food is traditional, old-fashioned French. Very, very, very rich and hearty. Lots of duck, rabbit, lamb brains, escargot, crepes, souffle, etc. Service is excellent. On weekends the place is always packed and the mood is very lively. Every night (at least when I've been there) the owner/chef Phillipe emerges from the kitchen to greet each table individually, which is a nice touch.

Friendly atmosphere, the chef is great value at the end of the dining service he came out and gave a speech which gave the place lots of character. Food is traditional french, heavy and wonderful - don't eat beforehand! Escargot are lovely with bread to soak up all the butter and garlic.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sydney. Book in advance and have signature garlic snails, slow roasted duck and theatrical crepes suzatte. Very friendly staff, but the ambience is lacking a bit from the old restaurant. Not quite so quaint anymore ;(

Get prepared for rich sauces, French music and Moulin Rouge murals. Forget the calorie counter and try delights like pork in roquefort or slow braised ox cheeks or garlic fried brains for the more adventurous. FYI: if you order the Crêpe Normande apple pancake – which is ‘formidable’ – don’t ask for ice cream, they just might ask you to leave. Chef Philippe Lebreux is a real character and he likes to make sure you are enjoying yourself. Chic in Sans Souci.
