    love going there! service is fast and very friendly. food has never been a disappointment. i have travelled to vietnam and still would prefer to eat at chi chi's, lol! go very regularly and wont be stopping any time soon

    Despite positioning itself as a "value" local family restaurant, this place's menu offerings are far from value. The menu is excessively diverse, with uninspiring, run of the mill options which are mere variations on the same staple ingredients. We ordered a beef and a chicken dish with steamed rice. Sauces were synthetic and laden with sugar and salt, saturating your palette so much that it is nearly impossible I distinguish one ingredient from another. Even the rice was dry and sticky. By the end if the meal I felt exhausted, battered by the brutal assault on my taste buds. As far as the atmosphere goes, the paper table cloth rustling beneath my elbows and the clinical lighting wasn't the most conducive to setting the 'ambiance'. I've felt more comfortable getting x-rayed by an Oncologist. Don't even bother coming to this excuse for a restaurant.

    I like the variety of food on the menu here and find it a large menu. The lighting is bright so I find it is not a romantic place although I have seen couples here. I would consider it best for groups and casual dinners. I find the service quick too. If you have trouble parking on Keilor Rd you could always park around the side street where Spotlight used to be. Then you can have icecream across the road on the way home which is exceptional. I love the food here and it is close to home than Richmond and Footscray so I suggest people from Essendon and nearby try this place. The food appears fresh and they do supply take away also.
