Recently I have visited Chippendale restorations: I wanted to make new Victorian Cedar Door for my house in Bondi. I could not be happier with the service they provided. Jeremy, the owner of the company, has spent more than 3 hours with me. I was really impressed with his honesty, high professionalism, willingness to help and thorough knowledge of timber industry and different products available in the market. As a result, he has offered me excellent quality Cedar Door at reasonable price. He was also able to recommend me great carpenter to do the job: it is old house, and frame and door jamb needed adjustment.
What a great company to deal with!
If everyone needs to renovate old house, this is possibly the best place in Sydney!
I will not hesitate to recommend this shop to all of my friends

This place is big, very big. But that doesn't stop it from having some of the friendliest staff around and certainly some of the most knowledgeable. Go ahead, ask your questions, it doesn't matter how obscure, they'll likely have an answer and as well as everything necessary to get you underway. You can spend hours poking around here, the range of heritage items for renovators is amazing, need a particular lead light window and frame, they'll have it, need a matching door handle for your terrace, need a new fireplace, need a particular slot head screw in brass, they'll have all those as well. Prices are very reasonable and they're open 6 days a week. If you're renovating an older house or terrace this place is Aladin's cave.
