    Delicious steaks and awesome decor.

    I went to the Chophouse for a late night feed with a couple of work mates a few nights ago. I loved it. We didn't get there until 10pm and we were not rushed to a table and hurried to order or anything like that. The restaurant - both inside and outside areas - was abuzz. We had a glass of wine at the bar to begin with and then decided to sit outside as it was a nice evening.

    Our order was taken within 5 minutes of being seated and we then ordered a bottle of exceptional red. One of the nicest Ive tasted. The steaks arrived about 20 minutes after ordering and they were beautiful. The sauces that accompanied them were delicious too.

    We ordered sides of cauliflower gratin, green beans and fries as you are not served anything with your steak. A bit disappointing considering you are paying $50 per steak but mouth wateringly good all the same.

    Went there on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all. Location could have something to do with that as it is at the bottom of an office block and surrounded by office blocks. Food was different. Was expecting the ribs to be like Hurricanes/ Tony Romas but was disappointed. The ribs were similar to Asian type slow cooked ribs. Friends had the double chops and T-Bone and they were pretty good. You have to order sides as the mains do not come with anything (ie vegetables, chips etc). Probably wouldn't rush to go back.
