Testing & Tagging of electrical appliances and equipment is not a legal requirement. However it is law under section 21 of the OH&S act 2004 that employers must provide a safe working environment for their employees.How can a employer prove or know that their appliances and equipment are safe to use if they have not under gone any testing.

All business that use electrical appliances & equipment must have them tested & tagged.
