I recently worked with Chris on a shoot for SBS and it was an absolute pleasure. He was organised, professional, personable, flexible, and great with the talent. After the shoot he delivered the images promptly and provided a shortlist of the best images for each part of the editorial, which made my job easy, and my editor was delighted with the final results. I would have no hesitation recommending Chris to anyone looking for an accomplished freelance photographer.

Chris Whelan conducted a photo shoot for me in late 2009 to upgrade my model/acting portfoilio. Chris struck me as a very talented photographer. I was very impressed by the breadth & depth of his capabilities including technical knowledge/use of the camera apparatus, understanding & use of the light, choice of shoot location & instruction on model poses. The shoot results exceeded my expectations & I will definitely be seeking Chris' services for when I need to update my model/acting portfolio or for other photography requirements. Chris is also a gentleman, has excellent communication skills & is very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Chris for all your photography needs.
