Chutney is a fine Indian restaurant that offers the best of both worlds - a mix of a vegetarian restaurant and one for the meat lovers out there.

The menu is vast with nearly 140 choices available. Choosing what to eat may take a bit of time, but any of the dishes on the menu are beautifully prepared and shouldn't disappoint. Chutney restaurant is located in Harris Park.

Here we serve authentic, traditional and treasured recipes from the North & South Indian royal families and traditional mithais (sweets).

    Worst worst worst....
    Went there last year and had the worst experience... Total unprofessional and unmannered staff and waited for hour to have food. They think that it's they are the only one and was rude to us.
    I ll never recommend anyone to go to chutney... Eat Maggie at home if nothing but never go there..

    Worst customer service ever, Staff was Rude and so called management was even Worst. Took more than 2 hours to receive some food, when ask one of the staffs, said none of his business and go and talk to management, left with group with disgust and never ever back to this place

    awesome food

    i came with my family and asked for a table at a busy time and they seated us quickly.

    The service was excellent and the restaurant is very elegant.

    Had all you can eat lunch here last friday $15pp
    Entered restaurant only one table occupied,asked for a table for 2, staff pointed to a table and walked of not a word said then came over and said ready,Thats it.
    Ordered a drink asked my wife if she would like to go somewhere else,we decided to stay and try the food now we were there.
    The food was a small buffet style on a table in the middle (2 meat,2veg,rice,bread and some of those dumpling sweet balls etc)
    Food was good but not great,dahl hadnt been stired so had developed a skin on top.
    Was border value for 2 people,if more in group would just order from the menu.
    But we wont be going back as the service was that bad and food nothing to write home about but not bad.
    Went to pay the bill and a staff didnt let us down with rude arrogance.
    The staff decided to stare out the window an stroke our receipt 6-7 times before handing it over.
    Appart from not cracking a smile the whole time,it was like you were putting that staff out.
    There are plenty of other options in this street alone and this place was near empty,when we left next door was packed.
    Hadnt read any reveiws before going here and was not surprised to read some of the comments before reveiwing myself.
    I am surprised that this is still happening
    The place just seems to be going through the motions and given up.

      Hi Peter, Agree with you, same experience again yesterday, nothing has been changed, should have seen all this review before stepping in, I love food and go to different Restaurants every weekend from last 12 years and this is the worst ever experience
