We love the food at Cinco and each time we go it gets better and better!!

Great selection of entrees, mains and desserts. Our last dinner was a celebration and the waiter and chef took time to chat and make recommendations about the specials, food and wine. Its a busy restaurant, and can have a wait at times, but its worth it. Beautiful local restaurant and I think a hidden gem! Fresh, funky, fabulous!
    Thank you Cinco!!

The good thing first - when we got the food, it was great. But that is the extent of it. I can't think of another positive thing to say. We sat down and ordered. We waited 2 HOURS for our dinner. We didn't order any entree's so they didn't have any excuse. Yes, they were busy, but if you can't bring the meals out within a timely manner, don't book out your restaurant. They then charged us $7.50 per head for corkage - they never once poured our wine. They overcharged us corkage as not everyone was drinking wine. When we complained about the time it took to get dinner, they basically said "too bad". Finally, they agreed to remove all corkage charges (after arguing for 20 minutes) only because the owner was too tired to care (his words). There are so may excellent restaurants in Brisbane with equally good or better food. I suggest you look elsewhere if you are hungry.

The food at Cinco is delicious. While parking in the local area can be a little difficult the food more than makes up for any issues with getting there.

We went with a large group (10 plus) so while it took a little to receive our meals the service offered while we were waiting was wonderful.

Chef Peter Stubbs chose the name Cinco to represent the five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal and water – essential to cooking and to the principles of feng shui. In this slick bistro he applies his knowledge of world cuisines to make the most of Aussie produce, creating delicately balanced food. For winter, he has put a spin on an old favourite: wagyu corned beef with warm potato salad and onion soubise. Peter’s organic garden next door ensures a supply of herbs and vegetables. Wines come from as far as France and as close as Stanthorpe. Mains average: $31.
