I would just like to add to all these reviews and beg anyone considering on purchasing this "Don't do it!!!". The management of the store was the one who applied the chemical straightening to my hair. They only applied it to the top of my hair and left the bottom half of my hair untreated. When i asked them whether they were going to treat it all, they said yes just before they wash it out, they never did. Now i have half straight/wavy and half curly hair. The straightening did work only very slightly and lasted for a few weeks, now all my hair is curly again. My hair doesn't feel damaged, however i have the strongest hair known to mankind that can go through anything and be okay.
Also, slightly unnecessary, but the salon smelt horrible and it felt so cramped inside. They kept switching between people working on my hair which also seemed very unprofessional.
Just a completely unpleasant visit.
If you have bought this voucher already, try and get your money back rather then giving it a go.. not worth your time or money!

I should have read the reviews before I bought the Living Social voucher at $119 (February 2012). It would have saved me from this my-worst-nightmare hair salon experience and would have a nice long hair. I was a bit skeptical when I entered the salon as the place looked quite shabby. I also noticed that they didn't even give a scalp massage of some sort when they did shampoo my hair. the whole thing didn't seem to fit with their original retail value of $475. They first put some treatment lotion from a huge bottle with no apparent name (it didn't appear to be the Shisheido product). To straighten hair it usually take 3~4 hours but this one look less than 1 hour and I felt something was not quite right. Well it took less than 1 hour to ruin my hair to be brittle, dry and frizzy. When I touch my hair it feels like a metal wire. I went to my usual hair dresser who advised me to cut the hair off to get rid of damaged hair. It took me years to get to this length and they just ruined my hair in an hour.

I bought a Living Social voucher in February 2012 for $119 BEFORE reading these reviews (my mistake). The apparent RRP was $475.
The appearance of the salon is VERY shabby and unprofessional.
I don't know if the staff used the promoted Shiseido straightening product on my hair - used a plain plastic container. They didn't give me proper instructions on caring for my hair over the next 48 hours. Fortunately I already knew. I was also surprised that it took the less than 2 hours to straighten my hair when the general consensus was that it was a 6 hour job.
The result of the hair straightening - maybe a 2/10 in satisfaction. My hair is somewhat straight and hasn't fallen out or gone frizzy. I got off lucky and there is no way I would go back for a second treatment based on what I've read here. Actually, there is no way I would ever go back to that salon ever.

AWFUL.. Got a voucher through Groupon for shisheido and I will have to cut my hair short to try and salvage the mess they created. If you have a voucher DON'T GO even if it was free it would not be worth it. My highlights literally melted off and the rest is frizzy and fried.

I like Yumi's work, she is my usual hairdresser. To qualify my remarks, I'm a man so I don't usually do colour or straightening, just a simple cut which has been always good.

On a positive note, the staff are very nice and friendly. The cut was quite good and considering the amount of time they worked on me... I guess i got what i payed for....
DO NOT GET SHISEIDO! I have been there TWICE now. The first time i sAT for 6 hours (when the voucher 'allow says 2-3 hours') and when i washed my hair after 2 days it was still curly and frizzy (but still quite healthy). I went back and they gave me a second treatment free of charge, i was happy with that. It took our ours (ten hours total) While they were putting the treatment in my hair i happened to ask if it was still shiseido and they said no, it is a 'special mix'. WELL.... Now my hair is neither curly nor straight!! It is damaged and dry and takes even LONGER to style!
I was told the reason for it not working was that my hair was 'very curly and strong'.... i have soft curls.
If you have a voucher, i suggest you play it safe, call groupon and demand your money back based on these reviews.

I bought a keratin voucher off a daily deal site and went to Cinderella Hair. I now have to go to another hairdresser every 2 weeks to have the fibre replaced. It literally melted off my head, as all of the research I did on this treatment had no indication that this could be a side effect, i had also researched the salon and reviews and I hope that this review helps other people make more informed decision. I left there feeling confused and scared with the hairdresser simply telling me that I had very damaged hair.....I would not recommend this hair salon and I feel bad for the other people who have since bought the deals.

  I don't know if it was left on too long or if my hair just wasn't suited to the treatment because it has dye in it. Another thought is that the straightners could have been too hot? I wasn't given any idea as to what the reason was when I was there!

I'm fussy with hairdresser and it's an adventure to find a replacement when your hairdresser is not working locally any more. I found this hairdresser by accidental and have already returned a couple of times over the last 2 months. Very Good cut and service with a smile. Well done
