So many times I have walked past this little Italian place and didnt really take any notice. It is, after all, hidden down a walkway and hard to notice how many people are enjoying the food inside. My girlfriend dragged me in there on night and to my surprise it was really nice inside with a sleek modern finish, packed with people who were obviously in the know and the menu looked amazing. I started with the goats cheese carpacchio which the waitress recommended as a popular choice and she was spot on. For mains I had the duck which was among the best I have tasted. My girlfriend had the prawns which she was also very happy with. Part of a good restaurant I feel is whether the waiting staff know what they are doing and what they talked about. Our waitress excelled in this and was even able to recommend a fantastic bottle of wine which would suit both of our dishes. A great experience and one I hope to be repeating in the near future.
These are the guys who had Swordfish at Souths Juniors. So if you loved their food there you will definitely love their food here even more. So if you can find somewhere to park the car, it is a must to go and see what they are doing now!
