    We went to CQ Bar/ Citiclub on Queens last night after purchasing a Zoupon.com.au voucher that included and antipasto platter and a "bottle of wine"

    The decor is gorgeous, ..the place has soooooooooooo much potential, but alas, is just wasting good space.
    Our "bottle of wine" was a choice of either sav blanc, or cab Merlot, .... being a dedicated Chardonnay drinker, this was pretty disappointing. ... My partner being a Red drinker opted for the Rothbury Estate (no choice other than) Cab Merlot, while I decided to buy a glass of chardonnay.
    $12 for a generic glass of Wolfblass Gold label blew me away!!!! You can buy a bottle for that in Safeway!
    The first waiter serving us was less than helpful... as you can probably gather from our limited choices and was either having a bad day or just lacked any form of hosting skills!
    The second waiter, although didn't have any decision making roles was at least friendly.

    The platter was presented attractively, yet sparsely.
    Hardly enough to touch the sides....
    The ham was processed, 3 olives and a couple of slices of sun dried tomato..??! 3 slices of salami, a few mushrooms in creamy sauce.. (well one mushroom sliced up) a couple of triangle of a bacon potato slice (around i inch diameter) couple of pieces of calamari and a couple of baby prawns, ...oh and two tiny bread sticks with nothing to dip them in.


    For a gorgeous summer night in the CBD, the huge space was empty, aside 4 couples sitting on the balcony. (which was also pretty...but what's the point) which basically says.. give it up!
    Could make a wonderful restaurant if they TRIED! ...but aside from the appearance, there seems to be very little effort put into it!
