fabulous service! we went late to newtown and they still accepted us in at 11.45pm! they made us burgers and everything, they definitely deserved our tip!

The service is about average, but the new renovations make it a quite a nice cafe to 'people-watch' King St from. Unfortunately coffee is the only hot drink they can do dairy-free, but the coffee is so good it makes up for that!!

Great breakfast spot over the weekend. You can take a quiet stroll around new town after you're meal, and it just makes a perfect weekend arvo.

Citrus is definitely my favourite place in Newtown. After having tested out the King Street cafes, I have been faithful to Citrus for nearly 5 years. The owners are a great couple who are always welcoming and friendly. They have a team of amazing girls working for them who are always warm and inviting. The food is great, reasonably priced and plentiful; they have an amazing cake selection and their soy chai lattes keep me coming back. It is a great place to go by yourself to read and have a cuppa or alternatively a suitable dinner venue with friends. Citrus gets my vote
