WHY REPCO ASSOCIATES THEMSELVES WITH THEM IS BEYOND ME, dont leave your car in their hands unless you want to start spending serious cash getting it back to normal by a real mechanic... DONT LEAVE YOUR CAR WITH THEM.....

I also had the misfortune of dealing with them. It seems their opinion is that the more problems they create the more money they can take off you.

They know how to dissasemble, however putting things back together without repco parts installation guides seems to be a real stumbling block.

I had the misfortune of taking my car to these people. They fixed what they were asked to fix no matter what they had to break in the process. This included:

In replacing my steering (to which they deny removing the steering wheel or the dash, rather it took itself apart) My Dash wasn't resecured after they took it apart, they also cut all the cable ties to the electrical wiring without replacing them & just left wires dangling in my dash (they didnt even bother to clean up the mess of cut cable ties), the bottom dash panel actually fell on to the accellerator whilst I was driving a few days later.

They disconnected my horn & told me it was "water damaged", I later discovered that they just disconnected it because they couldn't put it the button back together on the steering wheel. I found the earth wire on the floor underneath the dash a few days later & reconnected it myself...

They also charged me for securing an engine leak which was never fixed, when I took it back they said they couldn't find a leak as the engine was dirty. Why charge me in the first place if they didn't even know where to look, how could they possibly have fixed this? My answer, they didn't, and the leak still exists...

I found the workshop and counter staff to be very friendly, helpful and honest. The final cost was reasonable and less than originally quoted, as the job wasn't as big as originally estimated - I wouldn't have known any better if the mechanic hadn't told me! Very happy with the customer service and work done, and will definitely use them again.
