I Took my $70,000 Kluger for a simple scratch/dent repair on the LHR door. They wanted to put a secondhand door on a 2 1/2 year old car. I argued with the insurance company and they eventually agreed to put a new door. I got the car back after 10 days to find there were many paint flaws. Then a week later the outer door trim fell off and was lost on the freeway. The offered to re-repair the car, but if they can't do a good job the first time around, what's to say they can do a good job the second time around? I had to pay out of my pocket to replace the missing trim and also to replace items on the door trim they damaged during the repairs. I wold not recommend to anyone to take their car there. Their quality is bad and they wouldn't return my calls until I got my insurance company involved.
    Very bad experience.

let me start by saying I am an easy going non aggressive person and just take things in my stride. I was in an accident that was not my fault and took my car to claridge. I have 3 preschoolers so apart from the scare, coordinating a repair was last thing i needed. anyway i smiled took a deep breath and pleasantly go on with things and started to organise a quote. no point dwelling on back luck. no.1 requirement was a loan car at no charge as car needs to be in workshop around 8 business days, and one same as my car ie wide enough for 3 car seats. i was prepared to shop around but when i explained this staff at claridge was happy to \"look after me\". once insurance co gave go ahead etc and all set to go we arranged a date for the repairs based on availablility of a large loan car to fit my 3 seats in. coordinated kids sleeps etc and husband to stay home from work to drop car off and get the loan car. turned up to collect a loan car - one not there, they scratched around and found a medium car which (i did try) didn\'t fit my 3 seats. end result they said they\'ll call me when a large one there. was told they could get a big car from \"over the road\" but they would be charged at $110 /wk\". The only apology came from staff behind desk, ans didn\'t seem toi realise the extent of how much this has inconvenienced me. I didn\'t bother explaining it to them. frankly if this them looking after me I\'ll take my business elsewhere.

It has been left that they will ring me when they have a big car available. but now I am so annoyed i think i\'ll check with insurance company to see if i can use someone else. claridge were going to get an easy repair job paid by an insurance company. now however, (not that i have time), i\'ll find someone else with customer service!

My car was hit 3rd December and I got it back Feb 11.

Although the repairs took some time, it is important to note that Claridge were very professional, kept me posted at all times, and were more than friendly and accommodating.

The delay in getting my car back was not Claridge's fault, because it was at a suspension place for a good month, and then delayed at Paradise Mazda who also had work to do on it.

Dean, especially, assured me that there would be charge for the loan car, rang me regularly and was a champion to deal with. When I picked up the car, he asked me to drive it for a few days and report any hassles back.

    Great guys.
