Cleburne is Heritage Listed. Our 1830's homestead, cottage and barn are set on 4 acres of garden beside the Bowen Bridge, 15 mins from Hobart CBD and Salamanca Market. 5 mins from MONA. We have five unique luxury suites. The Homestead Suite has private entry off the main veranda and direct access to the guest library and grand dining room. It is subdued and comfortable with a queen bed, armchairs, coffee table, mini-bar and art work by Penelope Ann. The stunning ensuite bathroom has a shower and twin vanities. The Cottage is across the tree sheltered courtyard. Its queen bedroom and adjoining bathroom are in dormer rooms upstairs. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living area with lounge chairs TV/DVD, combustion wood fire and art work by Penelope Ann. Two day beds accommodate two extra guests. The Bakehouse Suite, with thick stone walls and slate floors is stunning in all white. The queen bedroom has luxurious white linen, white furniture, leather recliner chairs, TV/DVD, heating and a large painting by Helen Hopcroft. Down two steps is a dining are with kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities, mini-bar and microwave. The beautiful white bathroom features a free-standing bath, a separate shower and dramatic vanity. The Barn Suite has private entry. The raw stone walls, sandstone floor and exposed beams contrast with the king four-poster bed, sumptuous linen, leather armchairs and flat screen TV/DVD. A sparkling new, dramatic ensuite with shower is disabled accessible. The kitchenette has tea/coffee facilities, a mini-bar and microwave. The Stable Suite has private entry off a small deck with outdoor table and chairs and views to the river. The raw stone walls, sandstone walls, exposed beams and original horse feed bins contrast with the leather queen bed, luxurious linen, TV/DVD and new bathroom with shower. A kitchenette has tea/coffee facilities, mini-bar and microwave. Gay friendly. Pets - by arrangement.
