Clover Cottage of Berwick is a very elegant English-Victorian style cottage surrounded by colourful gardens. Its beautiful setting along with the experience of John and Engelina Chipperfield’s experience makes Clover Cottage a perfect place for weddings and functions. Since 1976 they have been offering quality food and professional service. They specialise in hosting both banquets and a la carte lunch at Chipperfield’s Strawberry Terrace, which is on their premises at Clover Cottage. All food is prepared and made on premises from fresh ingredients. They also offer live music. Their pianist Trevor Burr performs classical piano pieces on a grand piano.

the decor is very dated- felt like i was eating at grandmas house! good food and service, nothing unusual or spectacular though. Toilets need a serious re vamp. Overpriced, would have prefered the buffet at Langham or Conservatory for around the same price. Note that a pot of tea is complimentary but you are charged for coffee. More food provided than you can eat, and of much better quality than standard buffet. However if you cant be bothered traveling into town and are happy for meat and three veg style dinning, this place is ok
