I visit this place annually, not because it's only worth an annual visit, but because I am only in the area once a year :( Every year my family and I visit the south coast of nsw and this is a cafe my mother, bro and I visit when we're down this way. We sit in the same spot every year - outside at a table in the shade over looking the valley, the church, the pacific hwy and peppercorn trees. It is staffed by young friendly school kids - well, they're quite mature kids and and you can tell they have fun working there. They are probably all in the same homeroom and have advanced english classes together, swap shifts and talk about the locals in the cafe on the weekend. We went on a sunday; on the weekends and school holidays you can get waffles. I asked the young waiter if I should order the waffles or the satay chicken burger - he advised me the burger is quite delicious and comes with shoestring fries - done! It was delicious, juicy and just what I felt like. Ma ordered the dressing, oh sorry, did you want food with that dressing? Maybe some roast pumpkin, fetta, eggplant and roquette - oh okay, now we can call it a salad. All of the ingredients were lovely, but don't get so excited by the dressing next time. Maybe we could be one of those annoying "dressing on the side please" customers. Bro ordered the vegetarian wrap - he's a vego these days. Again, dripping with dressing, but he said it was good - okay, the vegie wrap with fries was good. The coffee at Coastal Indulgence is also good, sometimes a teaspoon of sugar is required though... It's a very inviting cafe, kids and rents alike enjoy relaxing with coffee etc at any time of day. On sunday a few teens were having a birthday party thing in one section of the cafe - cute. It's relaxed, reasonably priced and on the south coast with a view, how could you not? A pleasant experience - thanks young team.
