I could sit here for hours and watch the passes by, its right on Taylor Square so there's plenty of thoroughfare.

Its a place for a coffee, or one of their well made cocktails. Its more of a cafe, a good place to meet friends prior to a night out.

Cool place, good spot nice eats, like the cubano feast with serrano ham, only bad point is the ridiculously overpriced coffee, large is $8.90, same for milkshakes, so they sting you on the drinks, you end up paying over $50 for a basic breakfast where anywhere else would be $30 - $35.

I like this place! i went there the only night fairly late and just hung out the front with a coffee and a cigar. Its pretty cool, there is an old man recliner chair where you can sit back smoke your cigar and watch alot of outrageous and intoxicated people walking around Taylor Square.

Oh Chocolate Mojito how I love your yumminess!
Went to Sydney recently for a little fun in the sun and I came across Coco Cubano on my travels, What a delight! Friendly service and a chilled out atmosphere that made it a treat to visit.
One of my local friends suggested I hang out here and I'm glad he did as I'd totally recommend it to other TrueLocal folk to check out.
And its in the best location, right in the/ on the Cross and perfect for people watching in the little window or kicking back in a comfy chair inside.
I hear you have wi-fi now too! Ill be back in March for Mardi Gras!
P.s Thanks for letting me charge my phone!

For a chain chocolate, coffee & cocktails joint, Coco certainly has its unique quirks. Though the Cuban Castro decor is a bit much, the vibe is relaxed and it's a great place to stop by and have a quiet coffee with no one bothering you. Sit at the bar by the window or outside and people-watch out onto Oxford St and Taylor Square. It's also a great late night alternative to pubs or bars, where you can get a sweet tooth fix or a revitalising coffee. The range of hot chocolates are great, though the food is average and mostly overpriced, definitely not a place to have a savoury meal - defeats the purpose really!

Position position - this used to be a cool cafe that was open all hours - and sometimes having a dj playing on the verandah - which was nice to have a morning eat. But now this is a Cuban chocolate and cigars cafe. But the best thing is the chocolate mojitos - order at the counter - they give you a cigar box with a number on it and they come out with your drinks. The word is that George Michael spent all his time here with his posse for the Mardi Gras - instead of going upstairs for the Foxtel party.

Well ive just found out this is actually a chain of stores - so that does slightly diminish the experience.

Great addtion to Oxford Street this is a great place for coffee and cake. Found the service a little disjointed - ordered at the counter as instructed using a menu and was then told to ignore the menu as only food they had was in the window - seemed to be a lot of staff who had no idea what they were doing - walking past our table multiply times with our food to discover they had no idea where our table number was - not once, but three times and our order came out plate by plate, not ideal when dining in a group. If they can sort the staff and service issues out then its a place that will do well as a casual meeting place.
