Wonderful local salon with a classy, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Renee, Robyn and the rest of the girls are welcoming, lovely and know their "hair stuff". I've been going to Cocohoney since it opened and have always left feeling very happy my hair cut/colour, and my salon experience in general. -

Cancelled my appt with them that was made a week ago. I'm horrified! I need my hair done by Sat arvo for a 40th - it's now 2.30pm Thurs!
No option of rescheduling: appts are just cancelled straight out!! And the staff wouldn't accept this is a DISASTER for me! They were actually rude: as if it were unreasonable of me to be upset and panicked at the idea of finding a last minute colour!!
Unbelievable that in this economic climate a neighborhood salon would discourage cash walking in the door. Never ever trying a neighborhood salon again. Back to high end for me: you get what you pay for! -

I love going to Coco-honey, fantastic salon. I've been going to the salon since it opened three years ago. I seem to change my style and colour regularly, and Renee has a great understanding of exactly what I want. Love the head massage too! Great atmosphere and price. Highly recommend. -

I love this place what more can I say.. I have been to all the so called "top end" salons and have never been overly happy with the result and then I found Cocohoney, in my own backyard. Renee cut, coloured & styled my unruley hair & I could not be happier!! The salon has a great atmosphere and is very personal with a very high focus on client satisfaction. All the girls are just lovely!! They really make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone as I will never go anywhere else again. It has taken 12 years of bad colour and over-rated hair salons to finally find Cocohoney and it was worth the wait!! -

Having moved to a new suburb I was firstly impressed with the look and feel of the salon relaxing and friendly atmosphere having spent a few hours there doing the transition to blonde I couldn't be happier with the time and effort Renee and the girls put in. I left feeling fantastic and am loving my new look thanks so much Cocohoney see you all again soon. -

This was easily the worst experience I have had with a hair cut and colour and the first time I have openly expressed my disappointment directly to the hair dresser.
After giving very clear (and simple) instructions on what I wanted, which included no blonde streaks in my fringe or through the top layer of my hair and for my fringe to be cut carefully as I have a cow lick, I came out of my 2.5 hour appointment with a streaky, brassy mess through my hair and the staff who cut it had not cut anything off my fringe until I instructed them to do so. I eventually gave up trying and told them to spray it and that I would fix it myself.
Additionally, despite my clear dislike of the result, they charged me full price and offered to put a toner through it if I came back again during the week. I think I'd be better of with a packet of hair dye from the supermarket.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. -

I moved to Melbourne from WA 18 months ago and have been searching high and low for a hair dresser who can do my hair just right. I want to say a big thanks to Robyn, for the AMAZING cut and color!!! It looks fantastic!!!! And also thank you to the lovely girls who made my trip to the salon feel like an afternoon of pampering. Loved loved loved the head massage!!

I've only been here once & did not have a good experience. I saw Robyn & while my haircut was ok (although not what I asked for), I experienced really rough & rushed treatment. Her nails were long & scratched my neck during the shampoo, she pushed me a number of times to sit back in their uncomfortable chairs & then was visibly annoyed when I said I could not sit back because I have a sore back, she then attacked my very fine hair with a comb (it is fine & straight - doesn't need much combing). I was not offered a drink (while other customers sat sipping coffees - I think she wanted me gone quickly), she sprayed hairspray into my face, & finally, she did not ask me what I thought of the haircut. I left feeling annoyed & sore. Never again!
