Recently, my car fell victim to a heartless and childish act. As much as I would love to say who the criminal was, I won't lower myself (BUT I KNOW WHO YOU ARE). Anyway, this person willfully broke my windscreen wiper off my drivers side. I tried to replace it at some of the discount car accessories places but it wasn't available. I had to go directly to Mitsubishi. They had to order it in which was going to take 3 days. In the meantime, I still had to work. In fine weather, that was ok, but this week it rained didn't it. I left for work at 7.30 am but it started to rain after I left home. I pulled into Shell Coles Express at Albany Creek hoping to buy some rainex to get me to my performance that day. Sadly, they didn't have any. I couldn't drive with no wiper. I approached a staff member who was packing shelves and asked if they had any rainex out the back. He looked and still the answer was no. However this man is wonderful. He offered to swap the good wiper over to the bad side and see if it worked that way. He got drenched in the process and even though it wasn't a perfect fit, it would get me to my show, so the children at Heathwood would not miss out. Matt, you are wonderful. Not only did you go over and above your duty, you put your health at risk. You also enabled me to get my very important message about personal safety out to 40 beautiful children. Thankyou isn't quite enough, but I hope that if enough people read this you will hear how you too have changed lives. Thanks Matt.
