We have renovated several houses of the last ten years and have always used Comfyhome for our heating, cooling & air-conditioning needs. We have found them most helpful and always attended to all our requests. The installers were also very efficient, polite & courteous and listened to any request me made. We have recommended Comfyhome to our family & friends and have never had any complaints back from them. So we have no hesitation in recommending for any of your heating or cooling needs.

I absolutely can't recommend this company. We had them replace our old Vulcan 22 wall furnace with a Braemar WF2000. That would normally take 2 to 3 hours, as it fits in nicely in the old spot. The installer they sent us was clueless, however, and decided to put the new wall furnace in lower in the wall, without even giving us a choice. Because of this, they had to cut out a section of the wall beneath the hole that was already there, creating an opening towards our basement which hadn't been there before (we have a split level house and the hallway on the back of the furnace is higher up) and a gap on top where the old furnace had been of about 20 cm. They patched the gap with a flimsy metal plate which doesn't fully cover it and looks really bad. Because they lowered the furnace, we ended up with a floor register in the back, even though we had asked for a wall register (which would have been the standard with this type of furnaces). To get the floor register in, they cut through one of the joists under the floor of the hallway, which they tried to repair but failed. They also damaged an adjacent powerpoint by ripping it out with a screwdriver and managed to break the new furnace's thermostat. Furthermore, they damaged the plasterboard over the old gap by ripping out the old furnace. The first day they spent 7 hours wrecking our house, the second day they spent 2 hours repairing, then an installer from a different company came in to replace the thermostat, then the they returned for 2 hours more to finish the rear register. Finally an electrician came in to repair the powerpoint and remove the old wiring.
I invited management to view the end result who did not offer an apology but did offer to have the plasterboard and the joist repaired by people they knew. Having witnessed the damage their employee had done to our house so far, I decided to refuse the offer; I don't want anyone of their staff ever near our home again. The furnace works alright now, but I'm left with a lot of repairs that I rather do myself. Again, no apologies were offered and they just sent me the bill as per quote; not even a reduction to cover my costs.

Have renovated several homes over the last ten years and have always used Comfyhome to install our Heaters, Evaporative Coolers or Air-conditioning and have found them to be very thorough in the way they go about everything. Would recommend them to anyone looking for their kind of service. The tradesmen they use are polite & efficient, giving attention to any request I have made. Have recommended them to other friends and family members and the feedback has always been positive, so if you are in the market for heating or cooling, my recommendation is give them a try.
