    Staff were nice and welcoming, however having only 1 bus is a major drawback and I would not use this business again. I had to wait 25 minutes for a bus to pick us up (standing a young family outside on a winters night) despite providing them with our flight details and calling them as requested once we touched down.

    worst experience of my life. the management is to blame. we arrived at 9.07 instead of 9.00 as stated and they made us wait outside the gates because they were looking for an invoice book. after 27 minutes they opened up and said it was our fault we were late. then, when we said we were going to miss our check in time, they wouldn't take us to the airport, and 3 times said a driver was just around the corner. when the driver came they told the driver TO GO SLOW!!! Fortunately the driver paid no attention and despite the management we arrived at the airport just in time. Then for our return they were as nice as pie, as long as they talked just about themselves and there holidays in phuket. Rude and would never go there again.

      I don't like to respond to these reviews any more as they are almost always exaggerated. We have thousands of happy customers but unfortunately it is only the people who run late or are just plain angry people who take the time to extend their anger and try to sabotage decent business.
      This lady and her husband did arrive late but it was around 20 minutes late and not as they have said. As soon as she was at the gate i personally pressed the security remote and opened the gate. She was obviously upset from the beginning as they had run late. The lady was rude for the onset and was simply asked to fill out necessary paperwork and then wait for the next bus as they had run late. Nothing could calm her down and she was constantly rude toward myself until the moment the bus arrived. I did not tell the driver to drive slowly, i told him not to speed as this is obviously dangerous and against the law.

    Very disappointing customer service.
    From the moment I stepped out of my car I was a confronted by rude employees. When I booked with Commercial Drive I said I would arrive at 8am. I turned up at 7.55 to a full bus of other customers and the driver shouting at me to hurry up the bus is waiting for you. I was never told I should arrive prior to my arrival time! On a good note I did get to the airport on time, and the price was reasonable, but it was not a nice experience, nor a good start to my holiday.
    When I returned 4 days later, I called the driver to pick me up. I was told that I'll just have to go inside and get a coffee, Im flat out. I can understand that businesses can be busy, and I wouldnt have minded waiting, but the way they spoke to me was unacceptable. I was then dropped off at the other yard in the middle of hundreds of cars packed in so tight it took me 15 minutes to get my car out of there.
    Basically, I would never use them again.

    Commercial or budget airport parking or whatever the company is called, very bad experience! Beware! Cheap but not worth it. Very rude to me when i expressed my disappointment in their service. Waited 40 minutes to be picked up then was brought to the office to find my own key out of many keys only to find out my car was not there and had to be taken again to another carpark! In the website it did say the address of the parking but was not the fact that you have to get your keys at 38 allied and then ride a another shuttle to prima crt where your car is parked for budget. After 1 hour from my supposed to be picked up time, we arrived at the parking. I asked where my car was as there were probably Hundred cars there. Very rude, they cannot help me!!!

    Commercial drive Airport Parking is absolutely fantastic! They provide great service, i am a repeat customer and I have never EVER missed my plane or run late over the period of time I've been using them. You are just a massive sook. The reason you are angry is your own fault :)

    Complete disaster
    Yes it is the cheapest service... BUT
    a) expect to wait at least 30min for shuttle. we waited 40min on way back - in the rain
    b) only 1 shuttle running. (they only have 2 shuttles but both times only 1 was running)
    c) 15 - 20min from the airport not 5min as stated!

    We were running late and rang ahead. They said it wouldnt be an issue and would have shuttle waiting.
    By the time the shuttle came 20min later and waited for everone to board another 10min we missed our flight..
    So the $500+ for new tickets do not make up for their "cheap" service..

      As the owner of this business i am appalled at this review, I am sick and tired of people running late and expecting us to put other customers off to accommodate them and only them. I have said it before and i will say it again. "You are catching a plane" not a taxi or a bus! allow enough time for any delays and definitely don't blame others.
      As for 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, we are 3 km's from the airport and it takes an average of 5 - 7 minutes maximum to the airport. It is funny how these people never call me. Comments on one of our two buses running, obviously as we only need one bus to pick them up.

      We run a customer service based business. Last year I gave an employee a formal warning that included 8 different complaints from customers. The employee who had been employed for 3 months gave me a response for all 8 complains justifying why each one of these complaints was not his fault. People don't take the time to give feedback unless they are very happy or very upset. Also less than 10% of dissatisfied people an average will actually take the time to complain. I take complaints very seriously in my business and as a result we are extremely busy and we don't advertise as all our work is referred.

      Instead of playing the blame game like that employee, look for how you can be a better business based on the feedback.

      Look at that the complaints that you don't have enough staff and that there is no care factor. We were running late but at your business 45 minutes before our check in closed. When they got back from the last run, the staff got out of the van walked to the office with out talking to any of us waiting and then came out of the office a full 5 minutes later and told us "no one is going anywhere if you don't come in and register." How were we meant to know?

      You may also need to look at your marketing campaign as you need to be able to properly service the customers that you get.

      Your competitors are more expensive, but they offer a service. They have more that 2 vans on the road and more than 1 staff. Your flyer also does advertise personalized service and no waiting for buses.

      You also have not addressed that on our return to Melbourne it took an hour from when we sat down in the bus waiting area until we got into our car. (Before you say this is exaggeration, we called you at 1.58pm and got into our car at 2.56. There was also no apology. This service is unacceptable for a business that wishes to build up a client base on repeat business.)

      The point is that you can listen to the demographic or your clients will take the time to let others know about their experience and take their business elsewhere.

      I have nothing more to say on this issue, you are clearly an expert on my business and you want to tell everyone what a champion you are. If you are such an expert on business why is it that you could not even run on time for your flight in the first place? Perhaps you have some time management issues. Clearly your business is on a much much smaller scale than ours as you seem to have plenty of time to attack our business. It is funny that you accuse me of playing the blame game when you are clearly blaming us for YOU running late and missing your flight. Also, to address the return wait issue. Our driver was not stuck in traffic and did not tell you he was stuck in traffic, he was in fact stuck at the airport waiting for some other customers to collect their baggage, but again, i am sure that you would have wanted him to leave them behind so give you that personal service and drop you back while they wait for him to take care of you SPECIAL people. Please get on with your life now.

    Great experience with these guy. Went up to Noosa for a couple of weeks come back to to a clean car waiting for me. Minimal waiting time for the shuttle bus to and from the airport. Great service Commercial Drive will be using you again.

    The worst parking place that I've ever found. I left my car for a week and when I came back to pick up the car, the interior was full of cigarette ashes, plus I found inside the car a make up brush, mascara and nail polish which weren't there when I left my car. On the other hand, I left my car full of petrol and they gave it back to me just with half of the tank. When I asked about it, they said that they just moved the car inside the parking and about the make up stuff they just told me that they did not know where that came from...

    I would not recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy. Commercial Drive, lack of customer service.

    We recently used them to park our car for 4 days.

    When we arrived we were instantly put offside by the extreme lack in customer service. When we walked into the 'office' not one of the them said "hello" or "can I help you?", they simply stared at us and waited for us to say something as if we were in the wrong place or something. Once we signed all the paperwork which included payment for a basic wash inside and out ($35) we were told to go and get in the van.

    We sat in the van for 15 minutes in the sun, stinking hot and watching them argued over car positions, yelling at each other and carrying on. Finally the staff got in the van, not one word was spoken, no apology for having us sit there without any information as to what was going on, in the hot van etc. etc. When we got out, again not one word was said, they were rude but at the end of the day we may have forgiven and forgotten if this is where it ended...

    When we returned from our trip, our flight was on time.. We rang the number and were told to wait at Bus Bay 6 which we walked to in little under 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, no one had turned up so we rang again, they told us they had just dropped someone off and were now leaving the depot??? They would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still no one. Finally after 50 minutes they arrived. No apology, not even a 'hello'. When we arrived back at the depot my car was in 'another yard because it had been washed' (their exact words) so a further 15 minutes of sitting around on our own in an office with everyones cars and car keys lying around and a bathroom that was so disgusting I couldn't use it. The car finally turned up, they passed me the keys without a word and walked off. My car was dirtier than when I dropped it off, it was obviously messy on the inside and out. I told the staff I wouldn't pay for the wash and wanted my money back and they asked me why??? I said because it hadn't been washed!!!! They just walked off, came back with $35 in cash and that was it. No apology, no spoken words at all....

    The saddest part on all of this is that we both left the lot so enraged by the complete lack of customer service. A smile and an apology cost nothing but not having them can cost you a lot of business. Never again would I use this company and as we are both pilots in the airline industry, travel regularly and know a lot of people that do the same, I will ensure that I spread the word so no one else makes the same mistake we did!

    Beware!
    I booked the airport parking with them a couple of weeks ago.
    Had a voucher, which included a car wash.
    First part was fine. Dropping car off and then dropped off at the airport.
    On the way back, I was told that they couldn't pick us up from the Tiger Airways terminal.
    Fair enough. We had to walk down to Bus Stop 6 (they originally wanted us to walk all the way down to Bus Stop 1, but after I'd explained to them 5 times that we had a lot of luggage + a baby, they agreed to go back and stop at Bus Stop 6.
    We then got back to pick up our car.
    Had it been washed? No.
    There wasn't even a note stating that they apologises for not washing it.
    I got the number of the management from one of the staff who worked there.
    I called them and what was their excuse?
    Oh, it had been raining the day before, which happened to be the day that the car wash staff turned up.
    What kind of an excuse it that?
    The car had been parked there for 5 days!
    So is this some kind of lottery, where you have to hope that it's not raining the day that the 'car wash staff turns up???
    After a few mins of chatting, they agreed to refund the $20, which is the cost of the car wash itself.
    I was told to send them an email, which I did.
    Did I hear back from them? No.
    I then sent them a text too. Did I hear back from them? No.

    So all I can say is that please don't ever even consider using this company.
    There are plenty of other companies out there, who provides a much better service (including picking you up from the Tiger Airways terminal, if you happen to travel with them).
    ...and I'm sure they keep their promise too and either wash the car or refund you the money.

      We had same experience like you on 28/12.

      My car rego and make was passed onto the staff on the phone before the collection. When we arrived back to the company, our car was not there as other travellers' cars were! Insteasd I was asked to go in to the office to select my car key. We couldn't find it on the table but it was in a white container.

      After other travellers all left, we were still standing outside and waiting for our car because it was parked in another area as the staff advised! We later found the date and time of our returning trip was clearly written in the yellow sticky note on the dash board.

      When we finally got our car, the car was unwashed despite the voucher and the yellow sticky pad stated the service was part of deal. We told the staff our car that the car was not washed but no staff came and offered anything!!

      Horrible company and not worth to waste time with them!

    Bought a voucher for airport parking including a car wash. Called a number of times on the way to the airport to advise of our arrival but the phone rang out. Arrived 5 minutes before our airport shuttle was scheduled to depart only to be told it had just left and we would have to wait for it to return. 30 minutes later, we were on our way to the airport. No toilet paper in the toilets, no towels or soap to wash your hands. Staff seemed very stressed and disorganised. Obviously understaffed. Upon return, car was parked in the street and obviously hadn't been washed. We did not get what we paid for and luckily we had arrived with heaps of time to spare before our flight departed. Would had been much better off parking at the airport.

    we found the service to be average/poor. We arrived without any drama and got to the aiport on time for our flight. HOwever, on the way home, we called to get picked up after picking up our luggage. The staff who answered asked if we were at Terminal 6. We were at Terminal 1 and soon realised there is no such place as Terminal 6. We waited at Terminal 1 and then became worried that the staff had no idea where to pick us up from as there are a number of bus terminals ... maybe they meant Bus Terminal 6? so we tried calling the mobile a couple of times - no answer. tried the landline and the staff picked up and said they would be 5 minutes away, again causing confusion around where we should actually be waiting for them. In the end we did get picked up after waiting approx 30 mins.no biggie really except that the service experienced was very rude and did not give us confidence that we would even be picked up! There was another couple who had waited 1hr and 45 mins to get picked up. They were not happy travellers! Also, on both trips the driver talked on their mobile phone.... perhaps they should invest in a handsfree kit if there is only one person taking calls and driving at the same time?

      We are also aware that there is no such terminal as terminal 6 this is why what you say is incorrect. The driver informed you to wait at bus zone 6 which is one of the authorised pick up points, i am sorry you did not understand this at the time and i thank you for being one of the unfortunate people who try to ruin good family businesses such as ours because of your own misunderstanding. Please listen more carefully in the future and ask questions if not clear. As you said your self, there was no problem in getting to the airport.

    We used Commercial Drv airport parking 3times. I do NOT recommend them.
    First 2 times were OK. Pickups during the day, planes on time, everything went smoothly. The 3rd event was a minor nightmare:

    My plane arrived 3hrs late. Commercial Drive carpark is not staffed 24hrs, so there was no one to answer their landline or mobile phone at 2:30am (it doesn't even have a message bank) when we arrived in Melbourne.

    We took a taxi after 3am from airport to commercial drive and discovered our car locked-up, and all lights out, and guard dog present. Frustrated, we took a 90$ taxi ride home and then had to return the following morning for the car.

    The management handled our complaint by saying that since we are all grownups, we (the humble customer) should have given them notice of our plane delay! We pointed-out that their website and all advertising says 24hr pickup from airport . It definitely does not mention anywhere that there will be no pickup unless flight delays are advised! We tried to call - 20times! To no avail. Short story is, our complaint was dismissed with no appologies.

    Commercial Airport Parking promised a service, we paid for it, they never delivered it, and we were out of pocket for the taxi. Poor service Commercial Airport Parking! Be ashamed...

      This is pretty simple. We do advertise 24 hour pickup because we offer 24 hour pickup. The bottom line was that these people were due in at 11:00 pm and our driver tried calling several times while they were waiting to get on their plane. I was told by them on the morning when they arrived to pick up their car that they had seen the missed calls but did not call back or answer because they did not know the number. PLEASE!!!??? How can we be blamed, our driver waited until 02:00am and gave up. Why should we have someone waiting around, being paid double time after midnight just incase people turn up. Yes people do need to take responsibility for themselves, we tried and our calls were dismissed, why didnt they call to say their plane had been delayed? I would. so would most other people with half a clue. Our email confirmation forms outline the need to advise us of any changes to flight times and our mobile number is provided to all customers in big yellow writing on a card.

      In response to the comment he posted above, the fact is that their driver left no message on our phone. Another juicy fact is that they advertise 24hr service but the mobile phone (with number IN BIG YELLOW LETTERS on the business card) is not manned at certain hours of the night. As DBISHOP acknowledged in our unproductive meeting, they had many (about 20) missed calls on their unmanned 24hr phone that night from us. But there is no message bank or answering service!!!

      The email confirmation form says nothing about "no service if you don't provide several hours notice to changed flight times". I wish it was in the fine print, but it is not.

    Poor service from the time we arrived. No one at the factory. Gate was locked. Number on the gate was contacted & the driver said he was 5 min away. Whilst waiting a gentleman arrived ? for work. Also waited then rang the bus driver to see where he was to be told he was 5 min away. After waiting 10 min the bus driver turned up & unloaded passengers from the bus. We informed the driver that we had 20min to get to the airport. The driver with no communication to us walked inside the factory. After waiting & waiting I had to go inside to ask who was taking us to the airport. 3 staffs were standing around talking. eventually one of then came out to take us to the airport. We missed our check in for our flight. The airport parking is advertised as 5 min away which it is not. On missing our check in we had to wait 40 min for the driver to return to pick us up. When I contacted the management he said they were overseas at the time. They were rude, obnoxious, took no blame for their poor customer service. Did not offer compensation for our added costs. Told me that we should have drove off if we were sick of waiting. Tried to shift the blame to us. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

      It is simple, allow yourself enough time to catch your plane, domestic is 1 hour, international is 2 hours, ideally 3. Don't blame other people for your shortcomings with personal organisation and exaggerate situations. All individuals are ultimately responsible for themselves so please take some responsibility for future travel plans. Thousands of customers agree that we offer a great service here, why?? because they allow enough time and take responsibility for themselves so that we are able to help them have a smooth trip. Oh and my son who is still laying in his hospital bed as he was when i said it was an innappropriate time to discuss this, sends his regards but regrets that you said, "who cares, this is about business".

    My car was also damaged by a driver from this business, causing just over $1000 damage. The management demanded I show them my car when I informed them, but as I live 2 hours away, it was inconvenient and difficult to do so. I offered to email pictures but they refused. Subsequent phone calls were not returned. Not recommended if you wish your car to be in the same condition as you left it.

      This ladys vehicle was noted as having this existing damage when it arrived to our premises, it is a small dint on the top of the right hand side front guard, it looks like someone has punched the guard. The vehicle is an early model Nissan Pulsar, i requested photos to ensure that we were talking about the same damage, which she sent me and i have if anyone is interested in me backing this up i can email photos to them. The damage is so minor that a paintless dint removal person could have it fixed in under an hour and for less than $100.00. Her claims of over $1000 dollars,us demanding her bring the car to us, and me not answering calls are not true. I tried to tell her that i had noticed the damage on the car the day it arrived and to offer her advice on paintless dint removal but she was wanting to continually speak over me and did not want to listen. Again, unfortunately most people who write these reviews seem to be only interested in cash. Take it on face value, and call us.

    Very impressed.
    I promised myself when we got home from our holiday I would write a review because I find these helpful myself. A few weeks ago we were dealing with Tiger and spent pretty much two days going to and from the airport trying to get on a flight only to have them cancelled. The guys at commercial drive parking were absolutley wonderful ! I can't tell you how many times they picked us up and dropped us off so that inbetween the waiting for the next flight , we could take the kids to the park and restaurant etc. They were very sympathetic and professional; providing humour and advice to help our situation. I recommend them to everyone.

They were really terrific and find it really hard to believe that we are talking about the same company. I have used them a few times. It might depend on who is working on that day.

    Excellent service from start to finish, very competative rates, only used parking located at Tullamarine Airport before as wasn't sure about getting to airport on time and pick up on return. No worries there and saved money at the same time. Would use this service again and will do so in August. I would recommend this service 100%. Thanks for a great service Charlie.

      I found their service pretty ordinary, an hour from the time I rang till the time I got dropped at my vehicle, had my vehicle damaged and copped a nasty spiel from the operator when I rang up to report the damage. Do yourself a favour people do not use this service...

      Consumer13 is mis-representing our business, this gentleman on arrival made it quite clear that he would hold us responsible for any damage to his vehicle when i told him it may be held in our other high security yard, as a result of his comments , i parked the vehicle myself in our yard on our main site. It was parked in a position where no other vehicle can come within three metres of it, i was also the one who brought his vehicle out and picked him up from the airport. The pickup was prompt and i even rushed them back to our yard as they said they had a family emergency. Who would have thought that i would get a call from a seemingly upset but not convincing gentleman the next day to report that we had caused pre existing damage to his vehicle. I requested to see the vehicle, but again who would have thought that he would refuse showing it to me. Instead of repairs, he was requesting free parking. I know, if my car was damaged, i would want it fixed.
