Just like most public hospitals they are understaffed and underfunded and too busy to do their job. Thats not their fault, they seem to do their best, but I don't know how thorough that can be. My experience wasn't so great. I was bitten by a red back spider and was quite ill. MY GP sent me there with a note saying they needed to see me urgently to administer the anti venine. But I just had to take a seat like everybody else. Admittedly some of the people actually getting to see a doctor appeared to be heart attacks and they did come and check on me occasionally to make sure I was still breathing. But by the time I actually go to see a doctor many hours later he said it was too late to give me the anti venine, and by that time I obviously wasn't going to cark it anyway. So he just sent me home. It took 6 months before I could use the finger that was bitten properly and to have no pain in it.
