    Connex Melbourne are pretty much rubbish. I'm fed up with their train cancellations and sick of being late to work. They don't run services frequently enough and the trains are always overcrowded. Connex have managed to turn everything into rosy PR and constantly pass the buck to the government for their failure to maintain infrastructure. The only thing saving them is that a lot of it is actually the government's fault and they keep renewing the contract despite the poor running record. In the end though, Connex are the ones supposed to be providing a service. I've used trains in other states and they are run much better than the Connex system and the higher price we're paying for it simply doesn't justify what you get in return.

    Overall, Connex provides an adequate service, although cancellations are an especially annoying issue when they occur.
    The Bentleigh station is a manned station & generally it's staff are helpful & thorough.
    The station & toilets are clean.
