  • recently had lunch there, and found it to be a pleasant surprise. Coffee was great, food was very good and not over the top pricewise. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area
  • Friendly crew and great coffee. Two thumbs up.
  • Great food and some of the best coffee in Sydney.

Hidden away on Buckingham Street just away from Devonshire Street , this bright and breezy cafe is a great example of how to run a local , busy & popular eatery. Always friendly and helpful, the people that run Cook & Archies make the place a happy zone.

Great coffee is always key to a successful cafe in Sydney and round here the fashionistas of the designer and clothing industry that frequest Cook & Archies don't drink bad coffee.

The menu is just right for lunch ( no wine on offer though) with very tasty salads and sandwiches and other homemade quiches, muffins and the like. There are always specials on the blackboard too. Usually always busy with regulars, this place is one of the better , yet strangely unheralded Surry Hills cafes, probably more due to its location on the western side of Surry Hills rather than the quality of the place. I say, make the effort and try it. You'll like it.
  • Delicious coffee and a great menu selection for lunch.

Great sandwiches and awesome coffee at this warm and inviting cafe popular with local office workers
  • A very popular lunch spot - a little bit out of the way but worth finding. The food is excellent and they cater for those who need to be Gluten-free.
