I have a small business and have been dealing with Core Computers for the last 3-4 years and could not recommend them enough! I had a twin hard drive PC especially built for me by them a few years ago, which was one of the best decisions I could have made and I am so glad that they suggested it. I have also bought various other equipment and a laptop through them and couldn't be more pleased. I recently had my RAM go on my PC and they repaired it in super fast time, understanding that as a small business operator my PC out of action can really hurt my business. Their after sales support and service to be outstanding - thanks Core Computers! -

I asked to have my hard drive erased & re-formatted & received my computer back with the drive erased but not re-formatted. When I went to re-install windows it would not install. After wasting 1 1/2 hours I tried a different OS & it said windows could find no HD. Then I realized that they did not connect the HD to the power supply. They, of course, offered no apology.
After that I found I had no internet connection. It was then returned & I had to wait 3 days for them to replace the ethernet controller (something the should take a few minutes) as well as call them as that is too much work for them to call me. When the computer was set up at home I still had the same problem - no internet. The connection works as it function fine on my laptop. They were called & asked to call me when they had time &, of course, I had to call back again. When I finally got someone & expressed annoyance of the same problem existing they told me that the problem was at my end & that I should bring it back AGAIN! Suffice to say, I'm going somewhere else. Typical of alot of PC repair companies. NOT TO BE TRUSTED!-

I have used Core Computers with no problems for years now, both for business and personal solutions.I'm a bit disappointed that you have posted such a negative comment against a hard working local business because of your own issues.
I'm not a computer expert (that's what Core Computers are for!) but I know this much: When you format a drive you actually erase it anyway! And if you're asking a computer store to perform a basic task such as this (which even I know how to do, and I'm in my 50's) why are you taking it upon yourself to install windows and diagnose your own problems? I think general common sense would have said to get them to do it all for you so you don't have the hassle of setting up all the little things.
As mentioned previously, I have used Core Computers for many years, and will continue to use and recommend them for many years to come.1 year ago

The funny thing is that we did what you asked, reformat the hard drive. We didnt check any hardware because you were loading the operating system and for $35 I think that is reasonable. If you had asked us to reformat and load windows we would have check the computer for hardware faults and you would of gone home all working.8 months ago

Bought a full PC from Core Computers about 4months ago and can't be happier. Still runs like a dream, and haven't had any issues with it. Had a great range of brands to choose from and staff were very helpful in selecting compatible parts for my budget, with the knowledge i can upgrade effortlessly in the future. -

I have purchased a number of computers and a wide range of equipment from core computers over the past 12 months. I rate their staff to be extremely helpful, offering endless solutions to any technology questions that I have put to them. Including the complete setup of my home theatre setup, my pc network in my office which is 12 computers and a complete server solution.
Without the service that Core Computers offer to my staff and myself, I could without a doubt say that my business would suffer. Specifically, there knowledge in backing up data has been absolutely priceless and saved me many headaches.
I recommend that if anyone is looking for the complete solution see the guys at Core Computers.
And they may enjoy their hobbies, but they get the job done and they get the job done well. -

Took in my laptop of about 4 yrs old, after my daughter drop it on the ground smashing the screen. I had a quote that day on both a 2nd hand and new repalcement. I got the machine back the next day and the bill was not to bad either considering I took it to 2 other places and got to to throw it away. -

Well even though we had been there numerous times, they can never find your info on their computer because they never listen to you when you spell your name! They take far to long to do the job, they never ph you to update you on the progress or simply to inform you that your computer is ready then when you get your machine back the most basic items are not restored so you then have to take the bloody thing back again for them to simply charge you more!!!!! They will sell you a virus scan that doesnt work/install so they then just install a free download version and still charge you. BUT if you want to know all about touch footy or what they do at the gym or whats on for the weekend well thats ok coz they are usually busy telling one of their mates either in at the store or on the ph while you are waiting to be acknowledged as a customer!-

I couldn't agree with you more. There are so many out there like them. Thank god I use Apple for most things but I like to game & it's easier on a PC.1 year ago
