Love this place! Perfect for afternoon drinks as well as drinks late into the night. Plus they sometimes bring around free food! The only way it could be better would be if they offered a special for when you check in on foursquare!9 months ago via TrueLocal for iPhone

Definitely, not your average pub...I have been to a few private functions held here and have been impressed every time.
The portion sizes are very generous with entrees of tandoori chicken, seafood basket and stuffed field mushroom many guests thought the entree was the main. Mains included steak and chips with mushroom or pepper sauce, marinated chicken breast or a salmon fillet. The table then gets a shared portion of steamed vegetables and garden salad. To say the least not many people we able to finish their meal. There is also a large private bar if you book out the whole top floor stocked with a wide selection liqueurs and beers.
There are also television screens which are great for parties if you want to show a powerpoint or photos.
The staff are friendly and accommodating bringing out meals with a smile.
The location is right near Townhall so it is easily accessible.
Would highly recommend for anyone thinking of having a party or function for up to around 50 people.
