    I purchased an automatic gate from a salesman who had to ring twice during the sign up to get help (this should have started warning bells!). We then heard nothing for almost twelve weeks, only to find that we would have to pay more to have the gate powered coated. During the sign up I asked if this made a difference to the price? "no, no is the same price powder coated or not". Apparently not, 'Builders variation' strikes again. Then, when the gate finally gets installed I notice the track is the lowest point in the concrete pad. I call to point this out and the long term effects of water sitting over the track, "I'll get back to you". Two weeks and counting for a response.

    Lastly, after weeks of one way communication, when it comes to collecting payments they're on the front foot and take payments directly from credit cards, no dramas - 'oh but did we mention there's a 1% surcharge?' Too late, when it's written on a post it note attached to the final account! ..............BTW one remote was pretty much DOA.
