Country Cob bakery in Kyneton is a must-visit for anyone in the area. The food is exquisite - fantastic quality versions of the usual bakery stuff, plus lunch-style foods such as vegie bake. Rather than being modern and pretentious, the Country Cob bakery is cosy and homely, with art by local artists on the walls, a noticeboard, and decorations that give it a welcoming feel. However it is high-ceilinged and non-oppressive! The staff are friendly and always eager to help, and the prices are not the cheapest, but are definitely not too expensive, especially given the quality. Definitely the best bakery I have ever been to.
