    You don't need to don the Lycra to fit in at Cranked, but it helps.

    Being affiliated with the bike shop next door (they share owners), this Leederville coffee spot and cafe is a firm favourite with the cycling set. On the day we visited it was also brimming with footballers, with a whole table full of glum-looking Eagles. Being surrounded by all those toned bods doesn't do much for the appetite, but it was lunchtime so we ordered sensibly while eyeing off a set of calves that could carve brie. Something for everyone In the mornings, Cranked is packed with early rising cyclists and those grabbing a quick caffeine hit before heading to the office. Afternoons, it’s a mixed bag of more tardy two-wheelers, lunching mums, business suits and trendy Leederville types. At night, Cranked gets a little more sophisticated, morphing into Cranked After Dark which attracts a hip mix of 20-and-30-somethings indulging in beer, wine and tapas.
