I dined here with my girlfriend on a Sunday night, and the place was buzzing. We were very lucky to be seated immediately without a booking, because for most of the time while we dined there was a line. The atmosphere was really good, and service was good at first. Entree came out quick, and it was nice brushetta. Unfortunately my girlfriends main course was a real let down, and so was the service from here on. We both ordered pasta, and requested some parmesan. He told us he would be back shortly, but after not returning, I had to ask another staff member, who promptly went and got us some. My meal was nice, but my girlfriend complained it was way to salty. I tasted it, and she was right, it was very salty. I told the waiter, and he just said it has prosciutto in it so it will be salty. I understand that prosciutto is salty, but this was over the top, and she couldn't eat it. All he did was say he would tell the chef and walked off. When we went to pay, I mentioned again that she couldn't eat her meal, and they didn't even offer a discount. It really spoiled what would of been a great night.

I've now experienced Critini's twice, and the second time was a second chance. The meals are great but what I find let's this place down is lack of service, the fact your squished into your seat in a packed restaurant and you struggle to hear your friends next to you over all the noise. I wouldn't go back again, for me it's not worth the money despite the good meal.

The line to get in to this place is testament to how divine the food is! Booking in particular for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights is crucial to avoid a general 30 minute + wait. The serving sizes are generous and during the week happy hour is from 3 - 7pm which includes half price cocktails. Their cocktail menu (and entire menu for a matter of fact) is extensive and I would definitely recommend the zucchini flower stuffed with goats cheese starter - words do not even begin to convey how delicious this dish is! It's important to realise that the restaurant is quite large and can be beyond busy most nights so at times service can be a little delayed but the waiters do the best they can to ensure they get to you - and when any unhappiness is expressed they will bend over backwards to ensure you leave a happy customer (in my own case, and others' that I've witnessed anyway). The pricing may be considered a little steep for some but you certainly get money for value with the portions and how delicious their food is!

Great food and price, but its so busy that to get a staff is impossible, very loud so basically eat the great food and talk when you leave!! 3 stars due to poor service

Went here a few times with friends, the food is quite nice but since the restaurant is quite packed most of the time the service is not that great. Apart from that the experience was not to bad.

To be honest, the best aspect of this restaurant is the generous portion size and realistic price.

The wait to be seated is absolutely ridiculous, be prepared to wait a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour. Oh and then another 40 minutes before eating. The staff in some cases are friendly, in other cases are completely rude and ignore you constantly leaving you waiting.

The worst part of this restaurant is not the waiting but the noise pollution, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a meal this is not the location..
