My family and I have just moved into the area, and Crown Palace has very quickly become our favourite take-away! The food is fantastic! Fresh dumplings, the crispy skin chicken is fantastic, and the roast pork is mouth wateringly good! The yum cha is also a highlight, and an added bonus you don't get at many Chinese restaurants, a large freezer at the entrance displaying frozen, home made dumplings to take home (at around $7 a bag), with cooking instructions. I would reccomend Crown Palace for your local Chinese takeaway, or a Saturday or Sunday yum cha (but they serve yum cha daily!) -
Have visited the Crown Palace on and off for around four years for Yum Cha - and it has always been excellent. There is always a good variety of dishes on the trolley, the quality is great and never a problem. Furthermore the staff are genuinely friendly. Looking forward to my next meal there. -

Some of the best Chinese I've eaten in Australia. The food was very authentic and the seafood was very fresh. We felt the service was good and the restaurant manageress was very personable. Our food came quickly and was presented very well. At first glimpse of the menu the prices of the mains do seem a little above the average for a Chinese main dish in Melbourne but the quantity and quality of food I felt was exceptional and hence well priced. I have had take away recently from here previously to eating in and also found the service and the standard of the take away dishes to be excellent.
