Located just off the main street in Havelock Avenue, the prices here are reasonable, the coffee smooth, and the mains and snacks imaginative.

One of the best things about Crumpet is that it's away from most of the noise and hectic craziness of Coogee, in a nice, quieter spot on Havelock avenue. It serves up pretty good, fresh breakfast and lunch caf fare but the focus is mainly on the crumpets (obviously), which come a trillion different ways. I always thought the only thing to do with a crumpet was pile it up with butter and honey, but apparently you can be way more inventive than that. Their 'well stacked' crumpet is probably the best thing I've tried here, and has ricotta, banana and maple syrup, but there are heaps of savoury options too. If crumpets aren't your thing (and they aren't usually my thing either but here I make an exception), there are heaps of other choices on the menu, which is what I like about this place. Most cafes serve up the same few breakfast dishes but this place has quite a long and varied menu compared to others, with corn fritters, pancakes, French toast and walnut and fig toast (awesome) next to the crumpets and more standard bacon and eggs breakfasts. The prices are pretty much on par with other places in the area that are nowhere near as good, so I think this is one of the better choices in Coogee.

A fantastic local cafe that's out of the hussle of most other Coogee cafes. Coffee is a winner and their menu has plenty of choices for everyone. I think I'm addicted to the mushroom and goats cheese on sourdough toast! To add to all of this, the staff are great - efficient, friendly and all seem like they actually love working there.

Thsi is my local as Vicky and her team deliver really delicious food that are good value. If you want a yummy breakfast, lunch or snack they are a great choice. No view here , it is bigger cafe than the other one, but if you want to be near the beach they also have a smaller cafe at the north of the beach.
