    The food was good, the service was attentive but the delay between ordering and receiving entree and then receiving mains was too long. Desserts could do with some work, they were a bit ordinary.

    My friends and I go to the Trivia nights almost weekly. Great atmosphere, fabulous staff, and we have yet to have a bad meal. Also, the burgers are definitely the best I've had!

    A thoroughly enjoyable experience; The food was well prepared and deliciously tasty, a good selection of wines, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My partner and I were part of a group of 9 and we all left extremely satisfied with the evening. Will definitely return and can happily recommend anyone to do the same.

    Some places are hard to review, but this hotel/restaurant wasn't. The one thing I'll always remember about this place is just how much I wanted to take the head chef home. The food was fantastic, we had dinner in the restaurant a few nights ago and liked the atmosphere and service so much we came back and ate in the front bar where we were remembered, treated like friends and felt very welcome. All of my friends love this hotel and we are considering it as a regular appearer in our nights out and lunch days.
    Recommended to everyone.

    Food was acceptable (if a little over-priced for pub fare in my opinion) however I haven't had a worse "customer service" experience in my entire life!! We had 2 tables of 14 or so - the first table had eaten 2 courses & were leaving the premises before we'd even been served (an hour and 20 minutes after ordering!) A staff member told us we'd been forgotten but did not even offer an apology, let alone some form of acknowledgment of their error. I will not return and will strongly encourage others not to dine there either.
