La Bussola was established in 1990 as a Pizza restaurant, Danny took over this business in 2001 and changed its name to Danny's La Bussola, and that is what this restaurant has become ... an extention of Danny's. He creates his own recepies with love and dedication, always making sure that his Italian/South American background come through in the flavours and presentation of his dishes.
If you want a tasty, delicious pizza, or a freshly prepared salad, or you may prefer the scallopine or the risotto ... what ever you choose to eat you can be sure that it is freshly prepared with high quality ingredients.
This restaurant is BYO, bring your favorite drop and leave the rest to us !!

    Had dinner at Danny's with my family, including my mum and dad and we all enjoyed it. We had the scaloppine meals and a couple of pizzas (Mari Lamb and Gladiator...Delicious !!) we all loved the food, the service was good and the atmosphere was great. Will definately go back !

    Hi All, I have been going to Danny's La Bussola for many years and I know the owner pretty well, he is nothing but proffessional, he will crack a joke and laugh with you but always knows his place, don't listen to stupid stories, go there and try it out. They sell beautiful pizza, the service is good, it is BYO and good value for money.

    This is pretty much a culinary horror story...

    I went to Danny's one Saturday night with a friend, who had a Jump On It voucher. The staff told us that we couldn't use an iPhone to show it, we had to bring a paper copy (it wasn't in the coupon's terms and conditions, nor have we ever had to bring a paper copy in to a restaurant). This did NOT make us feel like valued customers - a poor start already.

    After asking the staff to send over the management to discuss a few times, they finally came over and demanded that we leave - no hello, no what's the problem...just a rude "get out".

    We were shocked and insisted that the T&Cs didn't mention anything about a paper copy. They kept yelling "get out", and edging closer to me. After a few seconds of yelling, they grabbed my throat! They stopped eventually, then had an argument with my friend that led to her slapping them and then them slapping her. There was a huge commotion as we left, and the incident no doubt ruined a lot of dinners - however, the management seemed more preoccupied with abusing us than tending to their appalled customers.

    To put it lightly, it was the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. Or any place, for that matter. It's a shame, since the food is apparently quite good.

    I ordered pasta from here for home delivery and it was the worst I have ever had. It tasted like a combination of uncooked and microwaved food. Terrible! I won't order again from here.

      We are very sorry you did not like the pasta you ordered from our restaurant, we wanted to re assure you that we are not in the habit of microwaving our food. Our pasta is home made and of the highest quality, our sauces are made daily and, again, are made with fresh ingredients of the highest quality. Although we understand that not everyone likes our food we would like to invite you to try another pasta and perhaps you change your mind. Many Thanks for your review. Danny's La Bussola.

    I had dinner at Danny's last night with a few friends and we all enjoyed it. We had Bruschetta which was very nice, we then had the Acapulco pizza and a Gladiator pizza. Gosh they were nice !! We also had a greek salad that was fresh and delicious. We took our own bottle of wine so we didn't have to pay $10 for a glass. Overall a very enjoyable night.

    This was my first experience with Danny's La Bussola and it was gooood !
    The pizza is exquisite and the pasta is fresh and tasty, the waitress told me they now have home made pasta and you could tell, it was delicious. Well priced and pleasant atmosphere, I will definately go back !!

    I have been going to Danny's La Bussola for years and I have to recommend this restaurant to others. The pizzas are delicious, always fresh and tasty. The risotto is always just right and the bruschetta is the best I have tasted. Over all an excellent meal without breaking the bank.
