It's a big impersonal medical centre that doesn't take appointments and can be busy BUT they are open long hours, it's clean, reception staff are good and they bulk bill for consultations as well as for pathology, x-rays etc. Having all those services on-site is definitely convenient. I've been going here for 4 or 5 years. In that time there's been a fairly regular turnover of doctors, so if you see a good one, don't get too attached! I can recommend doctor William Huang as a thorough doctor who is happy to take his time with patients. Dr Huber is also pretty good.

after waiting an hour to see the most out of medical staff i have ever met - whilst i waited my 90mins , they bumped into walls more than twice, lost their coffee and put arrogance onto the other staff and patients - they denied me treatment and stood up n left consultation before giving me pathogy results i had been waiting for ....... they were out off it, and too out wasted to work walk or converse. tomorrow i will contact medicare to make sure no payment is issued for this consultation. signed David Emanuel

I found the reception staff to be pleasant and helpful and the GP I saw was friendly and knowledgeable. I did have to wait for about an hour but hey, it's bulk billing with no appointments and I needed to see a doctor at short notice so was happy to wait.

I read reviews briefly before I visited this medical centre this morning, but as they were open earliest (7am) I decided to take a chance.

I was pleasantly surprised! Situated is a modern professional practise,With a onsite pharmacy.

From foot in the door, everything went way too smoothly than I'm use too. Friendly, helpful reception staff and I only had to wait 10 minutes to see next available doctor (given I was there from 7.30am). The doctor was fantastic, giving quick but comprehensive evaluation. She was extremely helpful and is a credit to this centre!

They currently do bulk-billing, getting you in and out efficiently.

I was out if there in half an hour altogether and even better, not late for work!

Highly recommended if you live locally and go in early.

This place really needs to get its act together. Expect to wait at least 1-2 hours to be seen, on average. Plus, not only have they mismanaged a billing issue (see comment above) but the practitioner saw most recently, was a total contradiction, telling me they would authorise a script change to a different manufacturer (same drug) over the phone if I got the pharmacy to call up. They then refused to do so, telling me I would need to come in and see them again first. Er, sorry but not with your waiting times. Avoid this place at all costs, they are shockingly unprofessional.

I found the doctor incredibly rude and unhelpful! Granted you get seen to quickly but they try to push you out just as quickly. The reception staff were very friendly but you go to the doctor to see a doctor, don't waste your time or money coming here. Perhaps I just caught the doctor at a bad time, but that is no excuse and I will never return to find out.

Great place actually. the working hours are till 10pm everyday I think. they bulk bill now so I did not have to pay to see GP and only waited about 20-30 minutes. the staff was very polite. I am not sure why so many negative reviews. I guess they improved their service substantially !

Some staff on the front desk are without doubt the most short tempered and rudest i have met in a long time. Add to that the long wait times and the new weird payment system (see below) i'd seriously suggest going elsewhere unless you were very desperate.

  Totally agree. Rude service and takes forever. Both of which are not tolerable when you are feeling unwell. I would only go here when it is urgent and you cant get in to any other surgery. What i do is go and put my name down, then i go and sit at the cafe across the road and check back in every 30minutes to see where I am in the queue.

This placed used to bulk bill and the wait time was terrible as you couldn't make an appointment. But they no longer bulk bill (unless on some type of pension) and have this silly system where you part pay the bill, then Medicare sends you a cheque and you then have to mail the cheque back to the clinic. Its the most ridiculous system and time consuming, not to mention the cost of the postage....... There are better medical centres on TrueLocal for sure.

  Absolutely agree. Ridiculous system. To add insult to injury, the cheque I was supposed to pay to them went astray and was banked by someone unknown, resulting in their debt collection agency coming after me. I have wasted so much time and effort attempting to clear my name, via collection of documents and phone calls, and not one word of apology or acknowledgement from them.

I used the physiotherapist here called Tim Ellis and to my surprise completely healed the problem in half an hour. Before this I had wasted time with doctors and will instead come here next time. The staff were also very friendly and Tim was fully informative about the injury. Recommened!
