My computer guy referred me to this company. I shopped around anyway. These guys have the most experience (per my computer guy and the company's longevity) with RAID arrays and their price ended up very reasonable. I liked it that I talked to the technician who worked on my data; I felt comfortable that my client's information was in good hands and secure. I would use them again (but hope it isn't necessary).
I dropped a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) off with this company and they said they would take a look at it that afternoon as my computer would not boot up and I could not get the files from it. Ten days later I got back in touch with them after they had failed to call me. I was told that data recovery would $990 plus $99 for a replacement HDD to store the files on unless I provided one myself.
I thought that was expensive. When I asked them what was wrong I was told they use very expensive equipment to analyse and recover the data hence the recovery costs are so high for them to recoup their costs in outlaying for the kit. And that if my data was not worth that much I could come and collect the HDD.
The next day I got another email from them saying that if I didnt collect the HDD within 30 days they would dispose of it and that the quote was only valid for 10 days and I need to let them know whether to commence data recovery. If they started the recovery and then I told them to stop I would be charged over $250.
I told them I would be in to collect the HDD that afternoon. I went to another computer shop who advised me what I needed. What I actually needed cost $25. I brought it, and transferred the files from the old HDD onto a new one in a few minutes.
I will never use or recommend this company to anyone.
