    This is one of those special places that are rare to find. Kingaroy was never on my list as a go-to holiday spot, but things have changed now that I know about Deshons Retreat. The atmosphere is a total escape and there's also lots of interesting things to see nearby. Jayne and Frank are the most amazing hosts you'll ever find. The right blend of helpfulness and leaving you to do your thing. Totally welcoming. Don't forget to order the food...the local produce and meats are as fresh as they come. Can't wait to go back.

    My hubby and I wanted a peaceful escape from our busy working lives and wow did we find it at Deshons Retreat! What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was clean and very comfortable with glorious views. The cheese platter and bbq meal that Jane prepared were devine. We will definately be coming back, it is heaven on earth!
